Animatic

Animatic is taking place in Cincinnati, Ohio on the weekend of July 30^th – Aug 1^st  of 2021. This will be our 5th year!

Our 2021 convention will be held at Holiday Inn Eastgate located at 4501 Eastgate Blvd, Cincinnati, OH 45245.

Our Mission

To create a convention that welcomes those with disabilities and also helps in removing any limitations one would face while attending an animation and cosplay convention.

Concept

Animatic: according to Merriam- Webster
  Noun
a preliminary sequence of shots, images, or sketches (as for a movie or an animated television program) that is filmed or arranged usually with a soundtrack and viewed to determine its effectiveness before being finalized

Animatic Con started in March of 2015 with the idea of delivering to the fandoms across the U.S. a convention that was fun, and had a higher purpose. After much consideration and discussion, we decided that we wanted to help raise funds for Autism, and with that we wanted to create a convention that welcomed people with limitations, and accommodate to their needs.

Animatic Con has been raising funds since 2016 and donating to charities such as ALL IN for Autism and now Safe Haven Farms, who we’ve worked with to ensure that funds raised go into the community to help provide the resources that they need.

Safe Haven Farms is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization offering residential, day and community services for adults with developmental disabilities and therapeutic equestrian programming for adults and children. Safe Haven believes that every individual served has the right to live, work, learn, and play in a safe and accepting farm environment where all are respected and valued as contributing community members.
